Â
"I thought the guys really showed a lot of determination and patience to come in here and play against a team we lost to in the OUA semifinal," said Varsity Blues head coach John Barrett. "We competed really well yesterday, played very well against the number one team in the country, but we lost. To piggyback on to that effort, we really wanted to show that our brand of volleyball is consistent and decent, and we have the desire to keep getting better. It was great to see the determination, I didn't have much doubt when I saw the looks on their faces today. They didn't want the tournament to end today, and they had to beat the team that they lost to in the semifinal."
