As announced by Ontario University Athletics (OUA) on Monday afternoon, University of Toronto Varsity Blues first-year linebacker Elia Lini has been selected to the OUA football all-rookie team.

A commerce student from Toronto, Lini appeared in seven games for the Blues this season, finishing tied for fifth on the team in total tackles with 19.5 this fall. The highly touted recruit made an impact both on special teams and within the defence, stepping into the starting lineup for the final three games of his debut season in the Blue and White. Lini finished the 2023-24 campaign with nine solo tackles, 21 assisted tackles, two assisted tackles for loss, and one fumble recovery.
