The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell 78-57 in the second game of their back-to-back series against the Ryerson Rams on Saturday February, 19 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

The Blues performed well in the first, ending the quarter 22-19. Although the Blues found some momentum into the second quarter, the Rams extended their lead leaving the Blues down 39-34 at the half. Through the third and fourth-quarter the Rams pulled away leaving the Blues behind with a final score of 78-57.

For the second-straight game, second-year guard Ellen Ougrinov lead the Blues tallying a career-high 22-points, five rebounds, four steals and two assists.

Second-year guard Lauren Boers recorded double-digit points for the sixth time this season with a season-high 17-points. Boers also tallied three rebound and two blocks.

Second-year forward Thuraya Abdul Hamid was the Blues driving force on the boards recording seven of the team's nine rebounds and seven points.
