Three Toronto hitters achieved double-digit kills as the No. 6 Varsity Blues defeated the No. 5 Queen's Gaels (25-16, 30-28, 16-25, 25-17) on Sunday, February 13.
TORONTO STATS: Third-year left side Evan Falardeau had a game-high 14 points off of 13 kills and one ace. Middle Jakson Paterson had a Blues career-high of 10 kills, while fourth-year outside Mitchell Neuert also had double-digit kills, finishing with 12.
First-year outside Hunter Arulpragasm came off the bench to help the Blues cause, notching seven kills.
The defence was anchored by fourth-year libero Daniel Tudor who had six digs. Setter Zane Grossinger had 35 assists against his former squad.
With the victory, the Varsity Blues avenged their only loss of the season, which was to the Queen's Gaels on November 13.
