The Blues started 2022 off with a 1-0 victory over the Rams on Thursday, February 10.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: The first period was back-and-forth but neither team was able to find the back of the net.

Midway through the second, the Varsity Blues finally solved Rams goalie Rachel Seeley as Aili McKeown put the puck top shelf for the 1-0 lead. Through two periods of play, the Blues had put up 30 shots on the Rams netminder.

The Rams got into some penalty trouble late in the third, but Toronto was unable to capitalize. The Blues would hold on for their eighth win of the season.

Third-year goalie Erica Fryer made 21 saves to get her sixth win of the season.
           
UP NEXT: Toronto will head to the Mattamay Athletic Centre for a rematch against the Rams on Saturday, February 12. Puck drop is at 4:00 p.m.
