The Varsity Blues baseball team split a pair of high scoring games at Dan Lang Field on Sunday, October 22.

HOW IT HAPPENED: In game one, it was all about those behind the plate.

Second-year pitcher Kento Moriyoshi got the nod for game one. First-year Ethan Kwong and second-year Ethan Vivan came in relief.

In the latter of the two games, the Blues jumped out to an early lead with five runs in the first inning. After adding a single in the fourth inning, the Blues carried a 6-0 lead into the sixth. The Goldenhawks recorded six-run innings in both the fifth and seventh frames to take the lead away from the Blues.
