The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team dropped an 85-54 exhibition contest to the McMaster Marauders on Sunday, October 24 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

TORONTO STATS: Sophomore forward Lauren Boers led the Blues with 16 points, while junior Ellen Ougrinov added 12 points and six rebounds in the loss.

Thuraya Abdul Hamid, a transfer from American University, led all players with seven rebounds.

UP NEXT: The Blues head to Waterloo, Ont. to take on the Laurier Golden Hawks on Friday, October 29 in pre-season play. Tip-off is at 6:00 p.m.
