The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the McMaster Marauders 3-2 (23-25, 23-25, 25-14, 25-19, 15-12) in exhibition action on Saturday, October 23 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
 
TORONTO STATS: Julia Murmann led the Blues with 17 points off of 15 kills, one ace and one block, while also adding nine digs on the night.
 
Fellow rookie outside hitter Asya Dogruer added 12.5 points off of nine kills, two aces and 1.5 blocks and had seven digs. Fourth-year veteran Jenna Woock chipped in with eight points.
 
Third-year setter Hayley Goodwin tallied 33 assists, while fifth-year libero Sophia Currier had 27 digs in the win.
 
UP NEXT: The Blues continue their pre-season schedule next Saturday, October 30 as they host the Western Mustangs at Goldring Centre. Opening serve is set for 1 p.m.
