HOW IT HAPPENED: Blues first-year midfielder Nino Nikolovksi's first half heroics saw Toronto net two goals in the opening 45' but, it would be second-year striker Artem Tesker that would prove to be the Blues talisman. Nikolovski would then double his assist tally finding second-year striker Matthew Roberts at the top of the 6-yard box (20').
In the second half, Tesker's cross found the head of third-year midfielder Anthony Sousa to extend the Blues lead to three (53'). Five minutes later, Laurentian would seal their own fate as third-year defender Graeme McLean knocked Tesker's cross in for the matches fourth and final goal (58').
Fourth-year goalkeeper Ben Grodin faced twos shots in the contest, saving both to record his second clean sheet of the season.
