The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team fell 2-0 to the McMaster Marauders on Sunday, October 10 at Varsity Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED: A defensive first half saw both the Blues and Marauders held to one shot on goal a piece. With each team recording only three shots each in the entire half.
The second half saw the deadlock break with a strike from Marauders fifth-year forward Dusan Kovacevic (52'). The Marauders would then double their lead by way of fifth-year midfielder Antonio Sereno (80').
Fourth-year Blues goalkeeper Ben Grodin faced three shots in the contest, stopping one.
UP NEXT: The Blues will play their next match this Friday, October 15 in Sudbury vs the Laurentian Voyageurs.
