Fifth-year left side hitter Chris Towe led all players with 19 points as the No. 6 University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team topped the York Lions 3-1 (24-26, 25-22, 25-20, 25-21) on Friday, February 7 at Tait McKenzie Centre.

TORONTO STATS: Towe notched a game-high 17 kills along with two blocks and 14 digs on the night. Sophomore outside hitter Evan Falardeau added 14 points off of 13 kills and one ace, while veteran Nick Trewern had 12.5 points off of 10 kills, 1.5 blocks and one ace, and added nine digs.

Fourth-year setter Jordan Figueira tallied 40 assists and 10 digs, while third-year libero Daniel Tudor notched a game-high 17 digs in the win.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action this Sunday, February 9 as they host the Trent Excalibur at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Opening serve is set for 1 p.m.
