WOMEN’S CURLING 5TH AT OUA CHAMPIONSHIPS

Results

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's curling team finished fifth at the 2020 OUA curling championships, February 13-17, in Guelph, Ont.
 
The Blues finished pool play with a 4-3 record to finish third in their division.
 
U of T opened the tournament with an 8-4 loss to the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks, but bounced back with a 4-3 win over the Guelph Gryphons. After dropping back-to-back games to McMaster and Queen's, the Blues wrapped up pool play with three straight wins over Algoma (8-7), Windsor (7-5) and Lakehead (5-3).
 
Toronto then met the Laurier Golden Hawks in the quarter-finals, where they dropped a narrow 5-4 decision to close out their 2019-20 campaign.
