The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team dropped their first game of the New Year 70-57 to the visiting Western Mustangs (Jan. 10).
 
TORONTO STATS: Nada Radonjic, Ellen Ougrinov and Sarah Bennett all recorded double figures in points, with Radonjic leading the team with 19 on the night, just four points shy of beating her season high. Ougrinov scored 14, including six points from beyond the arc.
 
Along with her 10 points, Bennett led the team in rebounds, notching up seven over the course of the game. First-year forward Nakeisha Ekwandja tallied a season high three assists to lead the team in that category.
 
Third-year guard Christine Jurcau had four points, along with two steals, two rebounds and an assist.
