The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team dropped a heartbreaking 94-88 matchup at home to the Western Mustangs, with the Blues narrowing an 18-point deficit down to three in the fourth quarter.
 
TORONTO STATS: Evan Shadkami led the team in scoring with 19 points over the course of the game, nine of which came beyond the arc. Daniel Johansson came alive in the fourth, scoring 16 points to spark a bold Blues fightback.
 
Along with his 13 points, Eli Mouyal led the team in rebounds, recording six over the course of the game. Fourth-year transfer Eric Rwahwire also scored 13, making him the fourth Blues player to score double figures on the night.
 
Fifth-year guard Chris Barrett was the team's assists leader with three during the game.
 
Somachi Agbapu had two big blocks to go along with his four points and four rebounds.
