The University of Toronto Varsity Blues baseball team notched two big wins over the Ryerson Rams on Saturday, September 21. Toronto took Game 1 9-6 before edging out a 6-5 victory.

TORONTO STATS: Michael Deluca led the Blues with four hits and two RBI in Game 1, while Kristyan Puyol-Genossar and Graham Tebbit both added two RBI in the win. Dean Christidis earned the win on the mound, striking out seven in seven innings of work.

Rookie William Yang led the Blues offensively in Game 2 with three hits and one RBI. Grant Shantz earned the win and Connall Helverson picked up the save in the victory.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back at it tomorrow as they travel to take on the York Lions.
