The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team scored five goals in the first 43 minutes of the match to secure a 5-1 season-opening victory over the RMC Paladins on Saturday, August 31 in Kingston, Ont.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Rookie midfielder Artem Tesker opened the scoring just two minutes into the match; however, RMC's Bradley Rylski responded to even the game two minutes later.

It was all Toronto from there as Nicholas Osorio scored in the 28th minute and rookie Matthew Roberts scored his first-of-two goals 10 minutes later. Gabriel Milo made it 4-1 for the Blues in the 41st minute and Roberts potted his season just before the half.

Fourth-year goalkeeper Stefan Dusciuc made three saves in the victory.
