The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team took down the Nipissing Lakers 3-0 (25-15, 25-10, 25-15) on Saturday night at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
PLAYOFF PICTURE: With the win, the Blues clinched second place in the OUA East division and will host the Brock Badgers in an OUA quarter-final match-up next Saturday, March 2 at 1 p.m.
TORONTO STATS: Fourth-year right side hitter Alina Dormann registered a game-high 14 points off 11 kills and three aces.
Fifth-veteran Anna Feore put up 13.5 points with 11 kills, two aces and a game-high 13 digs. Second-year Jenna Woock chipped in with seven kills, two aces and a block for 10 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Blues were leading the Lakers 4-3 in the first set, but rallied off a 9-2 run to help head into the first technical timeout up 16-10. They pushed out even further to capture the first set 25-15.
Toronto kept the pressure on in the second set, jumping out to a 16-6 advantage at the technical timeout. They went on to snag the set 25-10.
In the third set with Toronto down 9-8, they went on 8-1 run to lead 16-10 at technical timeout. The Blues continued the momentum to take the final set 25-15. Â
