The No. 9 nationally-ranked University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team suffered their first loss of the season, dropping a 3-0 (18-25, 17-25, 21-25) decision to the No. 4 McMaster Marauders on Saturday, November 16 in Hamilton, Ont.
Second-year outside hitter Evan Falardeau led the Blues with nine points off of eight kills and one block, and added six digs on the night.
Veteran Nicholas Trewern recorded six points off of five kills and one block, while rookie middle Jasper Neale also had six points off of four kills, one block and one ace.
Fourth-year setter Jordan Figueira tallied 17 assists and two digs, while Daniel Tudor led all players with 10 digs in the loss.
UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action tomorrow (Nov. 17) as they travel to St. Catharines, Ont., to take on the Brock Badgers. Opening serve is set for 4 p.m.
