Eric Rwahwire and Evan Shadkami combined for 45 points as the Varsity Blues men's basketball team defeated the York Lions 95-81 during U of T's Community Day on Friday, November 15 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

TORONTO STATS: A fourth-year guard from Toronto, Rwahwire led all players with 24 points, going 8-for-16 from the floor and 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, while also adding a team-high seven boards and three assists on the day.
Shadkami, a third-year guard from Toronto, went 9-for-16 from the floor and 3-for-6 from beyond the arc en route to a 21-point performance.

Daniel Johansson added 15 points and five rebounds, while fellow fifth-year veteran Chris Barrett had 12 points, four assists, three boards and two steals. Sophomore forward Somachi Agbapu recorded 11 points and six boards in the win.

UP NEXT: The Blues head to Hamilton, Ont., to take on the No. 10 McMaster Marauders tomorrow (Nov. 16). Tip off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
