The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team dropped a 74-39 decision to the York Lions on Friday, November 1 at Tait McKenzie Centre.

TORONTO STATS: Fiorella Granda led the Blues with eight points, four boards and two assists, while Christine Jurcau tallied seven points, four boards three steals and one assist on the night.

Both Sarah Bennett and Aja Quran tallied six points, with Ellen Ougrinov and Nakeisha Ekwandja adding five points apiece in the loss.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action tomorrow night as they host the Brock Badgers in their 2019-20 home opener at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Tip off is set for 6 p.m.
