The University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey team defeated the Waterloo Warriors 4-1 on Saturday, October 5 in Guelph, Ont.

With the win, the Blues improve to 8-0-2 and remain atop the OUA standings heading into the Thanksgiving break.

HOW IT HAPPENED: OUA leading scorer Emily Ziraldo added to her point tally, scoring Toronto's first two goals of the game on the day. Hilary Ziraldo notched U of T's third goal off a penalty stroke and Anna Costanzo rounded oaut the scoring with a single tally.

UP NEXT: The Blues wrap up the regular season, October 19-20, versus the Guelph Gryphons and Queen's Gaels in Waterloo, Ont.
