The University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey team suffered their first loss of the season, dropping a narrow 1-0 decision to the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday evening (Oct. 19) in Waterloo, Ont.

HOW IT HAPPENED: After three scoreless quarters, Guelph's Sidney Evans found the back of the net two minutes into the fourth quarter for what would stand as the lone goal of the game.

UP NEXT: The Blues wrap up the regular season versus the Queen's Gaels tomorrow (Oct. 20) in Waterloo.
