Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

BLUES BLANK RAVENS TO REMAIN UNDEFEATED

Fourth-year striker Natasha Klasios notched her third goal of the season to help push the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team through the Carleton Ravens, 1-0, on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 8) at Varsity Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED: For the third time this season, Klasios was the first to find the back of the net. In the 44th minute, midfielder Siena Porth sent a long ball loose down the left side of the field and Klasios sent a booming shot into the opposite side of the net. Even though goalkeeper Vanna Staggolis registered only one save, she made a couple key challenges for her second straight clean sheet victory.

UP NEXT: The Varsity Blues host the No. 7 Ottawa Gee-Gees on Sunday, September 9 at Varsity Stadium. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
