The University of Toronto Varsity Blues football team dropped a 43-7 decision to the Queen's Gaels on Saturday, September 8 at Richardson Stadium in Kingston, Ont.
TORONTO STATS:
Third-year quarterback Clay Sequeira went 13-for-28 for 141 yards, while also leading the Blues with nine rushes for 67 yards on the day. Sequeira's favourite target was sophomore Will Corby, who hauled in five catches for 74 yards.
Fourth-year defensive back Jordan Gillespie notched a career and game-high 10 tackles, while veteran linebacker Lamar Foyle had seven tackles and third-year defensive lineman Malcolm Campbell added five tackles and two sacks in the loss.
BLUES HIGHLIGHT:
Second-year defensive back Caleb Zigby got the Blues on the board late in the third quarter, picking off Gaels QB Nate Hobbs and returning the ball 62 yards to the end zone.

The Varsity Blues head to Hamilton, Ont., next Saturday, September 15 to take on the McMaster Marauders. Kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
