The University of Toronto Varsity Blues baseball team notched a 17-1 victory and 13-5 loss as they hosted the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday, September 29 at Dan Lang Field.

HIGHLIGHTS: Fourth-year veteran Gabriel Nakonechny went 5-for-5 in Game 1, hitting for the cycle, including a grand slam home run and two triples. Dean Christidis earned the win on the plate, going five shut out innings.

UP NEXT: Toronto hosts the Laurier Golden Hawks tomorrow (Sept. 30) at Dan Lang Field.
