The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team defeated the RMC Paladins 3-1 on Sunday, September 16 in Kingston, Ont.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Fourth-year striker Jae Jin Lee opened the scoring just before the half to give the Blues a 1-0 lead at the midway point of the match. Fellow veteran Koosha Nazemi scored his second goal in as many games in the 68th minute, while second-year midfielder Nick Chiappetta notched his first career goal in the Blue and White in the 89th minute. The Paladins spoiled the clean sheet with a goal in the final seconds of the match. Sebastian Sgarbossa made six saves in his first career victory.
UP NEXT: The Blues travel to Sudbury, Ont., native Saturday, September 22 to take on the Laurentian Voyageurs. The match begins at 2:15 p.m.
