Box Score Third-year right side hitter Alina Dormann led all players with 20 points as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team topped the RMC Paladins 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-22) on Saturday afternoon in Kingston, Ont.

With the win, the Blues improve to 14-4 and remain in second place in the OUA East division. U of T awaits the results of tonight's Ryerson/Queen's game to determine if they clinch second place and home court advantage in the quarter-final round.

Dormann tallied a game-high 18 kills, one ace and one block, while adding 10 digs in the victory.

Veteran Veronica Derylo notched 10.5 points off of seven kills and 3.5 blocks, and had 12 digs, while fourth-year left side Anna Feore added 10 points (8 kills, 2 aces) and 10 digs on the day.

Rookie setter Rayn Perry tallied 34 assists and seven digs, while libero Sophia Currier led all players with 19 digs in the win.

The Varsity Blues wrap up the regular season next Sunday, February 25 as they travel North of the city to take on the York Lions. Opening serve is set for 2 p.m.
