The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's squash team fell just short of the podium as the 2018 OUA championships wrapped up on Sunday (Feb. 11) at Queen's University.

The Blues went 2-4 to finish in a three-way tie for fourth place, but won the tie breaker based on matches won.

Toronto opened the tournament with a narrow 7-2 loss to the Brock Badgers on Friday evening. U of T bounced back with a dominant morning on Saturday, defeating both the Guelph Gryphons and McMaster Marauders 8-1.

The Blues then fell to 2-2 after a 9-0 loss to the eventual champion Western Mustangs, before narrowly falling 6-3 to Waterloo and 7-2 to Queen's on Sunday.
