BLUES DROP DECISION TO WARRIORS

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team fell 3-0 (20-25, 20-25, 12-25) to the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday night (Feb. 10) in Waterloo.
 
With the loss, the Blues drop to 6-9, but still remain tied for third place in the OUA East division standings.
 
Second-year outside hitter Alex Barnes led the Blues with 13.5 points from 12 kills and 1.5 blocks, while adding three digs.
 
Rookie Ryan Smith registered 7.5 points from seven kills and 0.5 blocks, and added six digs.
 
Sophomore Jordan Figueira led Toronto with both seven digs and 19 assists.
 
Warriors Jordan McConkey recorded a game-high 13.5 points from 11 kills and 2.5 blocks, while adding seven digs in the win. 
 
The Varsity Blues return to action next Friday, February 16 as they travel to Kingston to take on the Queen's Gaels. Opening serve is scheduled for 8 p.m.
