Four players reached double digits as the No. 8 University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the Windsor Lancers 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 27-25) on Saturday night (Nov. 17) in Windsor, Ont.
TORONTO STATS: Fourth-year right side hitter Alina Dormann led all players with 14.5 points off of 12 kills, 1.5 blocks and one ace. Third-year left site hitter Brianna Patrick had 11.5 points off of 10 kills, one ace and one assisted block, while also leading the Blues with 12 digs on the night.
Fifth-year veteran Anna Feore totaled 10 points off of eight kills, one ace and one block and had 11 digs, while sophomore middle Jenna Woock also notched 10 points off of six kills and a game-high four blocks.
Rookie setter Hayley Goodwin tallied 33 assists, six digs and led all players with four serving aces in the win.
UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action next Friday, November 23 as they travel to North Bay, Ont., to take on the Nipissing Lakers. Opening serve is set for 6 p.m.
