The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team defeated the Trent Excalibur 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 25-20, 25-20) on Saturday night (Nov. 10) in Peterborough, Ont.
TORONTO STATS: Rookie left side hitter Evan Falardeau led all players with 16 points off of 15 kills and one ace, while also adding seven digs on the night.
Veteran outside hitter Nick Trewern had nine points off of eight kills and one block and had 10 digs, while sophomore libero Daniel Tudor notched a game-high 11 digs.
Third-year setter Jordan Figueira tallied 31 assists and nine digs, while also adding nine points off of four kills, three blocks and two aces.
UP NEXT: The Blues are back on the court next Friday (Nov. 16) as they head to London, Ont., to play the Western Mustangs. Opening serve is set for 8:00 p.m.
