The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team wrapped up their pre-season schedule at the 2018 Brock Invitational, October 13-14, in St. Catharines, Ont.

The Blues opened the tournament with a 3-0 loss to the Windsor Lancers and went onto battle to a narrow 3-2 loss (15-12 in the fifth set) to the Western Mustangs on Saturday.

Toronto defeated the RMC Paladins, 3-0 on Sunday morning, before capping off the tournament with another narrow 3-2 loss (16-14 in the fifth set) to the host Badgers on Sunday afternoon.

Third-year Blues setter Jordan Figueira was recognized as a tournament all-star.

The Blues kick off their 2018-19 regular season on Friday, October 26 when they host the McMaster Marauders at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.
