The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's and women's volleyball teams host the Western Mustangs in their regular season home finale this Friday, February 2 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
 
The women start the action at 6 p.m., with the men to follow at 8 p.m. Toronto's men will also be honouring graduating players Zia Karim, Alex Ferris and Tom Meier in a special pre-game ceremony.
 
Toronto's women, who sit tied for second place with the Queen's Gaels with identical 9-4 records in the OUA East division, will be out for revenge versus the Western Mustangs (10-3), the second-place squad in the West. Western ousted Toronto in last year's OUA semifinals with a tight 3-2 victory, winning 16-14 in the fifth set.
 
Third-year right side hitter Alina Dormann leads Toronto and ranks first in the OUA, averaging 3.46 kills per set, while ranking second with 4.5 points per set this year.
 
The Blues men are 6-6 and sit in a three-way tie for third place in the East, making every match count as they push for playoff positioning. The Mustangs are 9-2 and sit second in the West division.
 
Second-year outside hitter Alex Barnes leads the OUA, averaging 4.27 kills per set, while also co-leading the province with 4.7 points per set for the Blues this season.
