The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team fell 97-70 to the Notre Dame College Falcons in exhibition action on Saturday, August 19 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
The Falcons used a 31-10 fourth quarter advantage to seal the victory.
Fifth-year Blues guard Reilly Reid recorded a team-high 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists on the day.
Veteran Sage Usher added 12 points and five boards, while Chase Ruttenberg had 12 points and four assists.
Both Daniel Johansson and Nikola Paradina added seven points in the loss. Â
Notre Dame's Kyauta Taylor led all players with 25 points, with Drew Scarberry and Oliver Megins adding 13 apiece.
The Varsity Blues return to action on Friday, September 29 when they host the UBC-Okanagan Heat at Goldring Centre. Tip off is set for 7 p.m.
