WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL KEEPS UNDEFEATED STREAK ALIVE

Box Score The provincial and national defending champion University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the Brock Badgers 3-0 (25-22, 26-24, 25-21) on Sunday, February 5 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
 
The win improves the No. 2 nationally ranked Blues to 13-0, holding the top spot in the OUA East standings.
 
OUA leading point-getter and 2016 all-Canadian Alina Dormann led all players with 13 points from 11 kills, one ace, and one block. She also showed off her defensive skills, posting 12 digs in the match.
 
Sophomore middle Anna Licht posted 11 points off of 10 kills and one block in the win.
 
Fifth-year setter Madelyn Mandryk tallied 33 assists and nine digs, while libero Asli Ersozoglu led all players with 18 digs.  
 
Brock middle Tori Carroll led her team with 12 points from six kills and six blocks.
 
The Varsity Blues will hit the road to take on the Trent Excalibur on February 10. Opening serve is set for 6 p.m.
