BLUES FALL TO LANCERS

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team dropped a 94-79 decision to the Windsor Lancers on Saturday evening (Nov. 4) at St. Denis Centre.
 
With the loss, the Blues drop to 2-1 in the early goings of the OUA season.
 
Fourth-year guard Sage Usher and third-year guard Nikola Paradina led the Blues with 16 points each. Usher went 6-for-10 from the floor, including 2-for-2 from beyond the arc, and added three rebounds and three assists. Paradina went 5-for-10, adding five rebounds, one assist and one steal.
 
Fifth-year veteran Reilly Reid had 15 points and a team-high eight rebounds, while Christopher Barrett tallied 12 points, six boards and four assists in the loss.
 
Windsor was led by Lucas Orlita and Mike Rocca, who notched 20 and 27 points, respectively.
 
The Varsity Blues return to action next Friday, November 10 as they host the Brock Badgers in their 2017 home opener at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Tip off is scheduled for 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale here.
