Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the Trent Excalibur 3-0 (25-12, 25-19, 25-14) on Friday night (Nov. 3) at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
 
Third-year right side hitter Alina Dormann led all players with an impressive 18 points on 12 kills, four aces and two blocks, while adding 12 digs on the night.
 
Fourth-year veteran Anna Feore notched nine points on eight kills and one block and added 12 digs.
 
First-year setter Angelica Hovanessian tallied a game-high 26 assists and 13 digs in the victory.
 
The Blues return to action next Saturday, November 11 as they travel to North Bay, Ont., to take on the Nipissing Lakers. Game time is set for 6 p.m.

The Varsity Blues celebrated veterans Alina Dormann and Anne Feore in a special pre-game ceremony. The duo represented Canada at the 2017 FISU Games this past summer in Taipei.
