BLUES COME BACK FALLS SHORT AT MCMASTER

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision (16-25, 19-25, 25-10, 20-25) to the McMaster Marauders on Friday night (Nov. 24) in Hamilton, Ont.
 
Third-year right side hitter Alina Dormann led all players with 20.5 points on 16 kills, 3.5 blocks and one ace, while adding eight digs on the night.
 
Rookie Jenna Woock added 13.5 points on 11 kills, 1.5 blocks and one ace, while sophomore Emma Armstrong had 11 points off seven kills, three aces and one block, and eight digs.
 
 Fourth-year veteran Anna Feore had 10 points on eight kills and two blocks, while adding 10 digs, while rookie setter Angelica Hovanessian tallied 34 assists and 11 digs in the loss.
 
McMaster was led by Rachel Woock's 14.5-point performance, while Katie Zutautas recorded a game-high 17 digs in the win.
 
The Varsity Blues return to action on Sunday (Nov. 26) as they travel to St. Catharines, Ont., to take on the Brock Badgers. Opening serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
