Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team dropped an 80-57 decision to the No. 2 nationally ranked Brock Badgers on Friday, November 10 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

With the loss, the Blues drop to 2-2, while the Badgers improve to 6-0 in the early goings of the OUA season.

Third-year guard Nikola Paradina led the Blues with 15 points, while adding four rebounds and one block.

Jawara Pedican added 12 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal, while rookie Evan Shadkami had 12 points, two boards and two steals on the night.

Fifth-year veteran Reilly Reid notched a team-high nine rebounds and three assists in the loss.

A slow start saw Toronto trailing 22-5 after the first quarter; however, the Blues picked up the pace, led by an eight-point second-quarter effort from Paradina, and matched the Badgers, 17-17, in the second frame. Toronto was down 39-22 at halftime.

U of T opened the second half on a 10-3 run to bring the game within 10 midway through the third quarter and were down 58-44 heading into the final frame. The Badgers sealed the victory with a 22-13 fourth-quarter effort.

Brock's Cassidy Ryan led all players with 18 points in the win.
