Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team dropped an 88-77 decision to the Lakehead Thunderwolves on Saturday night (Feb. 20) in Thunder Bay, Ont.
With the loss, the Blues drop to 5-12 but remain in third place in the OUA East.
First-year guard Devon Williams led the Blues with 16 points, four rebounds and three assists, while fourth-year forward Devin Johnson notched 14 points and Chase Ruttenberg had 12 points on the night.
Miroslav Jaksic added 11 points, with Sage Usher recording nine points, four assists and three boards in the loss.
Henry Tan led the Thunderwolves with 28 points and seven assists, while Bacarius Dinkins had a double-double of 17 points and 12 boards in the win.
Toronto will look to clinch a playoff spot when they return to action next Friday, February 26, travelling to take on the York Lions (4-13). Game time is set for 8 p.m.Â
