Women's Curling

BLUES GO 5-2 AT OUA CHAMPIONSHIP

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's curling team fell to the Guelph Gryphons in the OUA quarter-final round of the championship, February 11-15, at Guelph Curling Club.

The Blues finished the round robin in second place in the women's Pool B standings with a 5-1 record, their only loss coming at the hands of the defending champion Laurier Golden Hawks.

Toronto then met the Gryphons, who finished 5-2 in Pool A, in the quarter-final round, dropping a 7-1 decision to knock them out of medal contention.
