The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's and women's basketball teams close out the fall semester with two doubleheaders this week at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

The Blues host the Windsor Lancers on Wednesday, November 30. The women tip off at 6 p.m., with the men to follow at 8 p.m.

U of T then takes on the Western Mustangs this Saturday, December 3, with the women set to start at 2 p.m., and the men to follow at 4 p.m. Saturday's contest marks the Blues first annual Ontario Basketball Day at Goldring Centre. The Varsity Blues women are riding a three-game win streak and are coming off a lopsided 85-52 victory at Algoma last Saturday. Toronto is 3-3 and sit in third place in the OUA East, two points behind the Ryerson Rams (3-1).

Fourth-year guard Rahshida Atkinson leads Toronto, averaging 14 points per game, while fellow veteran Diedre Edwards tops the team with 5.2 rebounds per contest and 14 total assists.

Emily Piccini and Keyira Parkes rank second and third, respectively, averaging 9.4 and 8.8 points per game.

Toronto's men are 4-2 and also coming off a big win over Algoma last Saturday. The Blues are tied with Queen's (4-1) for second place in the East.

Two-time OUA all-star Devin Johnson leads the Blues and ranks third in the OUA, averaging 21.2 points per game. The fifth-year forward also leads the Blues with 6.8 boards per contest.

Fellow veteran forward Manny Sahota is off to an impressive start, posting 15.3 points and 6.7 boards per game, while sophomore forward Daniel Johansson and third-year guard Sage Usher average 10 and 11.8 points per game, respectively.
