The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's squash team opened their season this past weekend (Oct. 22-23) with a strong showing at the OUA Jesters East Sectionals hosted by McGill University.

Opening the tournament on Saturday with back-to-back 6-1 victories over Concordia and Brock, U of T built up momentum heading into a tough second tough which featured matchups with McGill and Queen's.

After defeating the Montreal Carabins 7-0, Toronto dropped a 2-5 decision to the Redmen before rebounding with a big 4-3 win over the Gaels.

The Varsity Blues are next in action at the OUA Jesters Fall Crossover event which is set to be hosted by Queen's University from Nov. 19-20.
