The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's water polo team wrapped up the Carleton Invitational with a perfect 4-0 record, notching 10-6 victories over the Ottawa Gee-Gees and Carleton Ravens alumnae on Sunday morning (Oct. 16).

In the first match against Ottawa, the Blues bench produced a tight, low scoring first half that ended with the Blues ahead 2-1.

With some starters inserted for the first half of the third quarter, the Blues built a 7-2 advantage.
Junior Ali Kraft (Rancho Santa Margarita, Cali.) led the way with three goals at the start of the third quarter. Â

Freshman Cambria Greer (Rancho Santa Margarita, Cali.) notched a pair of goals, while co-captain Ana Miroslavic  (Toronto), sophomore  Megan MacCormac (Ottawa) and freshmen Ema Gradascevic (Toronto), Joy Carter (Toronto) and third-year exchange student Sophie Mayrbaeurl (Austria) each tallied once.

After only an hour's rest, the Blues squared off versus the Carleton Ravens alumnae. Â The first half was hard fought with the teams trading goals before the Blues scored late to take a 5-4 advantage into half time.

Miroslavic, Kraft and freshman Kassie Fraser (Vancouver) led the way with two goals apiece. Â

Sophomore Emily Kelvin-Davies (Fraser Valley, B.C.), freshman Rhianna Wood (Calgary), MacCormac and Greer chipped in with one goal each.Â

Up next for the undefeated Blues is the Queen's Invitational, October 29-30, when the Blues will meet three Montreal-based universities for the first time ever.
