The University of Toronto Varsity Blues fastpitch team went 1-2 to finish fourth on Day 3 of the OIWFA championship in Innerkip, Ont.
 
The Blues opened Sunday with a big 7-2 victory over the Laurier Golden Hawks in quarter-final action. Toronto then met the Brock Badgers in the semifinals, falling 8-1.
 
U of T square off versus McMaster in the bronze-medal game, dropping a narrow 2-0 decision.
 
Veterans Nicole Knudsen and Shelby Reid were named 2016 OIWFA all-stars.
