BLUES SEASON COMES TO END IN WINDSOR

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team dropped an 85-71 decision to the Windsor Lancers in OUA playoff action on Wednesday, February 25 in Windsor, Ont.

The Blues were solid throughout the first half, only trailing the No. 5 nationally ranked Lancers by four (35-31). The Lancers extended their lead and took a 10-point advantage into the fourth quarter.

Four Varsity Blues hit double digits on the night, with Devin Johnson recording 16 points and nine rebounds. Third-year forward Manny Sahota added 15 points and nine boards, while Julian Clarke had 14 points and Denis Ankrah notched 10 points and eight rebounds.

Rookie Sage Usher tallied eight points, six rebounds and two assists in the loss.

Windsor's Rotimi Osuntola Jr. led all players with a double-double of 20 points and 18 rebounds, while Evan Matthews had 14 points and eight boards. Khalid Abdel-Gabar added 12 points and four assists in the win.
