MEN’S VOLLEYBALL BLANKS MUSTANGS ON THE ROAD

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team defeated the Western Mustangs in straight sets (25-15, 25-16, 25-22) on Saturday night in London, Ont.

With the win, the Blues wrap up the fall semester 5-5 and currently sit tied for fifth place in the OUA standings.

Fifth-year left side hitter Stefan Ristic led the Blues with 19 points, including 18 kills and one block, and added five digs on the night. Third-year right side hitter Will Colucci notched 15 points on 14 kills and two assisted blocks and added a team-high seven digs.

Veteran setter Aleksa Miladinovic tallied 37 assists and seven digs in the victory.

Mike Choja led the Mustangs with nine kills, while Seth Siegfried notched a game-high 10 digs in the loss.

The Varsity Blues resume regular season action on Saturday, January 16 when they travel to North Bay to take on the Nipissing Lakers.
