Box Score Fifth-year left side hitter Stefan Ristic notched 21 points in leading the University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-20, 22-25, 25-15, 25-18) road victory over the Windsor Lancers on Friday night (Nov. 27) at St. Denis Centre.
With the win, the Blues improve to 4-5 and move into a three-way tie for sixth place in the OUA standings.
Ristic led all players with 16 kills, four aces, one block and seven digs, while third-year right side hitter William Colucci had 11 kills, 4.5 blocks and eight digs on the night.
Sophomore Alex Ferris added eight kills and five digs, while rookie libero had 11 digs and veteran setter Aleksa Miladinovic tallied 33 assists, eight digs and two aces.
Josh Edwards topped the Lancers with 11 kills and 3.5 blocks, while setter Blase Wasser had 32 assists and eight digs in the loss.
The Varsity Blues wrap up the fall semester tomorrow night when they travel to London, Ont., to take on the Western Mustangs. Game time is set for 7 p.m.Â
