MEN’S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO WARRIORS

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team fell 3-1 (28-26, 21-25, 15-25, 19-25) to the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday, November 15 at Goldring Centre.

With the loss, the Blues drop to 2-4, while the Warriors improve to 4-3 in the OUA standings.

Third-year right side hitter Will Colucci led the Blues with 11 kills, one block and nine digs. Fifth-year veteran Stefan Ristic notched nine kills, three blocks and five digs, while Zia Karim had seven kills and three blocks.

Sophomore Alex Ferris added seven kills and six digs, with fifth-year setter Aleksa Miladinovic tallying 36 assists, 10 digs and one block in the loss.

Waterloo was led by Braden Cok's 26.5 points, including 24 kills and two aces. Jordon McConkey recorded 12 kills, while setter Gibson Graham notched 48 assists and 10 digs in the win.

The Varsity Blues return to action this Friday, November 20 as they host the Nipissing Lakers at Goldring Centre. Game time is set for 8 p.m.
