MARAUDERS TOP BLUES IN HAMILTON

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team fell 89-64 to the No. 8 McMaster Marauders on Saturday night (Nov. 14) in Hamilton, Ont.

Fourth-year forward Devin Johnson notched a career-high 32 points and completed the double-double with 10 boards on the night.

Kwasi Oti-Awere added eight points and seven rebounds, while Nicholas Morris had six points and two steals in the loss.

The Marauders scored 26 and 25 points, respectively, in the first and second quarter, putting the game out of reach for the Blues.

Toronto kept pace in the second half, but it wasn't enough to mount the comeback.

McMaster's Leon Alexander led the home team with 26 points, six rebounds and five steals, with Lazar Kojovic adding 14 points, five boards and three assists. Troy Joseph had 13 points and 16 rebounds in the win.

The Varsity Blues return to action next Saturday, November 21 when they travel to Windsor to take on the Lancers. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
